Children's Activities

Bringing your kids to Earth Day? Check out these activities that we know they will love!

  • Rain Barrel decorating – Your child can decorate a rain barrel, take it home, and collect rain water! Fun!
  • Planting veggies – Your child will get a flower pot and seeds of their own to allow them to watch their veggies grow!
  • Composting Demonstration – Your child will learn about all the brown stuff (leaves) and green stuff (veggies) that they can mush together to create food for their plant (or for your yard!).
  • Peanut Butter Bird Feeder – Your child can decorate a pine cone with peanut butter and watch the birds have a feast this Spring (when it finally comes!).
  • Bird Nest Supply kit – Your child will create a nice, little home for mama birds to let their baby birds grow and fly.
  • Prize/Giveaway section – Your child can take home (or play with while you explore the other parts of Earth Day) great gifts including coloring books, stickers, and other activities.
