Earth Day Network is the non-profit organization that coordinates worldwide events that raise environmental consciousness on Earth Day and year-round. Its mission is to help achieve a healthy environment and a sustainable world through environmental campaigns, events and public education. The Network includes over 9000 groups in 174 countries.

The Sierra Club, founded in 1892 by John Muir, has devoted itself to the study and protection of the Earth\'s scenic and ecological resources.  The Sierra Club has some 60 chapters throughout the United States and Canada and is a proud supporter of Earth Day events around the world.
